In Review: Last week, PCMA attended the Kansas Board of Pharmacy meeting to comment on the board’s work in revising the white bagging rules they introduced over a year ago. The revised rule now focuses solely on the safe transport of prescriptions through the white bagging process and ensures communication between specialty pharmacies and administering physicians to avoid waste and delay. The new draft regulation will now restart the rulemaking process, and we will submit our remaining concerns in writing through that mechanism.
