In Review: Last Friday, the Kansas Legislature reached its first adjournment, and no bills attacking PBM practices passed. The legislature will break until they return for the Veto
Session on April 29, and PCMA will continue to monitor that session for any irregularities, but none are expected. PCMA would like to thank all our members and our coalition partners, Kansas Employers for Affordable Healthcare, for their great work holding off bills restricting prior authorization and implementing costly coverage mandates.
