Up Next: Friday, the Kansas Legislature’s Special Committee on Pharmaceutical Studies will meet to examine issues related to the 340B program and PBMs. The committee will receive updates on federal initiatives to address the 340B program and will also receive an update on state and federal legislation from Senator Roger Marshall’s (R) office. The Kansas Insurance Department will present on the implementation of the negotiated PBM bill from 2022. PCMA is planning to attend the hearing and is preparing comments to present during the public comments section entitled “The Nexus Between 340B, PBMs, Employers, Hospitals, and Pharmacies.”
