In Review: Last week PCMA met with the bill sponsor of HB 190 (Mail Order), Representative Scott Sharp (R). His issue stems from personal experience with delayed prescriptions via mail through his Tricare plan and noted some constituents have had similar issues. The conversation was fairly high level, but Rep. Sharp did note that he would be open to any solutions outside of his bill that the industry could share. PCMA will continue to keep tabs with him, however, Representative Danny Bentley’s (R) expected larger PBM bill has yet to be filed. Aside from HB 190 (Mail Order) PCMA is monitoring legislation that would mandate coverage for GLP-1 drugs for public payors and a newly filed bill, HB 317 (Gold Card).
