In Review: Last Friday, Senator Max Wise (R) filed a floor amendment to SB 188 (NADAC + DF, mail order/specialty networks). The amendment would exempt mail-order pharmacies from receiving the dispensing fee established by the Kentucky Department of Insurance, among other negligible changes.

Up Next: Over the weekend, there were rumors of an additional floor amendment that is “better” for the opponent camp. While we wait for an additional floor amendment, PCMA and members are contacting employers and others who have voiced concern about the bill to resend communications to Senate Leadership. Currently, the bill is not in the orders of the day for Monday, March 25.
