Up Next: The Louisiana legislature will convene next Monday, March 11. Several bills have been introduced in advance of the 2024 legislative session. As of today, the proposals cover Audits (SB 281/SB 311/HB 603), PBM Incentive Programs (HB 704), Cost-Sharing (SB 347), White Bagging (SB 241), State Health Benefit Plan Transparency (HB 172), Prior Authorization in certain cancer treatments (SB 58), GPL1 mandated coverage (SB 100), a ban on Step Therapy (SB 148), Alternative Funding (HB 509), and administration of HIV drugs by a pharmacist (HB 579).
