In Review: Late last week, PCMA learned that HB 509 (patient assistance/coupons) would be turned into a study resolution and anticipates that HB 704 (PBM incentive program) will be on the House Floor today. PCMA is working with the Department of Insurance and others to address the two audit bills, SB 281 and HB 603, without advancing measures.
Up Next: This will be another busy week in Baton Rouge on PBM-related legislation. On Wednesday, PCMA anticipates the Senate Insurance Committee to take up SB 337, a point-of-sale rebate bill, and potentially SB 444, an “actual cost” reimbursement bill. PCMA will be at the meeting prepared to speak against both bills.
