In Review: Last week, PCMA spoke before the Senate Insurance Committee in opposition to SB 281, an audit bill, which was a hearing only. There was an amendment to the bill that did a few things, but most notably attempted to eliminate the ERISA preemption language in the code section.
Up Next: SB 281 will be back in committee this Wednesday, and PCMA will speak again in opposition. PCMA anticipates that the week of April 15 will be a busy committee week for PBM-related measures.
