In Review:  A hearing on HB 264 (point-of-sale rebates) was postponed following the release of a $35M fiscal note. Local coalition, Save Our Benefits, has released digital advertisements highlighting the impact of Big Pharma on list prices.

Up Next: The House Committee on Insurance will hear HB 264, and the Senate Committee on Insurance will hear SB 173 (dispensing fee). PCMA will be present to testify in opposition to both bills at their respective hearings on Wednesday. Coalition partners from the labor and business communities will also be present in opposition. Both bills will be closely monitored as potential vehicles for pharmacy affiliate restrictions. PCMA and member companies will meet with members on Monday and Tuesday to advocate against amendments to both measures.
