In Review: The Maine Health Committee on Insurance and Financial Services (HCIFS) voted unanimously to defeat a bill requiring rebates to be offered to patients at the point-of-sale. The bill was passed out of committee in the previous session but defeated in appropriations. PCMA will testify in HCIFS on Wednesday on a bill requiring NADAC + Medicaid reimbursement. PCMA will also testify on a 340B bill, no longer requiring a claims modifier. Representative Robert Nutting (R) introduced a delinking and ban on spread pricing bill late last week. PCMA will meet with Rep. Nutting this week to outline our concerns with the bill.
