In Review: PCMA testified on a bill that would no longer require prior authorizations for chronic conditions. PCMA’s testimony focused on patient safety and the robust prior authorization laws in Maine.

Up Next: PCMA will testify on a delinking bill on Tuesday in the Health Coverage, Insurance, and Financial Services Committee. PCMA previously met with the sponsor, who indicated that this bill is not his priority. PCMA will meet with committee members throughout the day on Wednesday, post-hearing, to share the costs associated with this bill.
