In Review: Maryland adjourned its 2024 session this week without enacting any PBM bills tracked by PCMA. Among them were bills dealing with white bagging, pass-through of rebates, copay accumulators, and, most notably, a bill granting the state’s insurance regulators authority over ERISA self-insured plans. Save Our Benefits Maryland was particularly helpful in organizing a chorus of voices to raise awareness and concern about the threat to ERISA plans in the state.
