In Review: The Massachusetts legislature adjourned early Thursday morning with no PBM bill advancing. PCMA had been heavily lobbying bills banning spread pricing, 80% point-of-sale rebates, and MAC appeals. PCMA’s Save Our Benefits Massachusetts was instrumental in our lobbying efforts, with coalition members contacting key legislators to raise concerns about anti-PBM policies in the bill. We anticipate an informal session in the fall, and PCMA will work with Massachusetts members on a strategy.
