In Review: On Wednesday, February 27, PCMA met with the Vice Chair of the Health Committee, Representative Mike McFall (D-8) and Representative Kelly Breen (D-21). Rep. McFall indicated that House Bill 5338, a PBM multi-section bill he authored, is not a priority of his and is not pushing the Speaker for a vote. In addition, House Bill 5339 – Relating to Step Therapy, House Bill 4434 – 90-Day Fill Mandate for maintenance drugs, House Bill 4719 – Banning Copay Accumulators, and House Bill 5340 – Mandating $0 copay of HIV antivirals are all not a priority and are unlikely to pass during the legislative session.
