In Review: The legislature concluded its spring calendar session on June 26 and is now in summer recess. Currently, there are a few days scheduled in September before they break for the general election. PCMA continues to monitor various proposals impacting PBMs, including House Bill 5338, relating to the creation of new definitions for “PBMs,” “Price Protection Rebate,” “Rebate,” “Spread Pricing,” and “Cost Sharing.” House Bill 5339, relating to step therapy; House Bill 4434, relating to 90-Day fill mandate for maintenance drugs; House Bill 4719, relating to banning copay accumulators; and House Bill 5340, relating to mandating $0 copay of HIV antivirals.
