Minnesota Weekly Update 2.20.24

In Review: The Minnesota legislature began on Monday, February 12. Last Thursday, HF 3578 (Prior Authorization/Gold Carding) had a hearing in the House Health Finance and Policy Committee. PCMA and Cigna submitted written testimony, and Prime Therapeutics testified at the hearing. The bill was referred to the House Commerce Finance and Policy Committee. The following new bills were introduced last week: SF 3722 (Adding Wholesalers to Prescription Drug Price Transparency Reporting), HF 3664 (Managed Care and County Based Plans – Coverage for Biologics in Inpatient Hospital Setting for Gene Therapy to Treat Rare Diseases), HF 3610 (Cover Insulin and Supplies No Exclusions for any Brand or Type of Equipment/Supplies), and SF 3726 (New Applications for Relocation and Change of Ownership/Licenses and Registrations NOT Transferrable).
