In Review: Bills relating to a coverage cap for epilepsy drugs, SF 3786 / HF 3652, as well as SF 3984 (this is the companion to HF 2500), that prohibit the use of algorithms and artificial intelligence for a health insurance prior authorization were introduced this week. The Minnesota budget outlook was released today and projects a surplus now, with spending growth outpacing revenue in future projections. However, it was noted that shifting polices at the federal level and missing or incomplete data introduce uncertainty.
