Minnesota Weekly Update 4.14.25

In Review: There were hearings on the various House and Senate omnibus policy bills. There were no tier-one issues in either the Commerce (HF 2443/SF 2216) or State Government (HF 2783/SF 3045) bills. The House Health Finance and Policy bill (HF 2435) was a bare-bones document that was approved and sent to the House Ways and Means Committee. However, the Senate Health and Human Services omnibus bill (SF 2669) was almost 600 pages and included the language from SF 1806 (Prohibiting Certain Formulary Changes During the Plan Year) as well as changes to language on transparency reporting to the Department of Health from SF 3294. PCMA submitted written testimony to the Committee on these issues for the hearing held last Wednesday, and the bill was referred to Senate Finance. The following bills were introduced: SF 3299 (NADAC + MA Dispensing Fee, No Loss for Pharmacies, Parity with Affiliated Pharmacies, Fees Ban) and HF 3123 (copay accumulator).

Up Next: The Minnesota legislature is on Easter/Passover break until Monday, April 21, at noon.
