In Review: The Senate has come to a bit of a standstill in the aftermath of a criminal incident involving a Senator. The Senate HHS omnibus bill remains as is, including changing prior authorization for chronic conditions, but no action has been taken. Meanwhile, the House is moving forward with its activities, and a fiscal note has been added to the HHS omnibus bill, which includes limitations on prior authorization.

Up Next: With only a few weeks left in the session, it is unclear whether anything controversial will pass, given the Senate’s current inaction.
