In Review: On Friday, Governor Tim Walz (D) called a legislative Special Session to begin on Monday, June 9. The Health and Human Services (HHS) Working Group held a public meeting on Sunday, and the HHS Omnibus bill language was released. As we had been reporting the last few weeks, the bill included formulary language prohibiting certain formulary changes during the plan year and updated transparency requirements for PBMs. No oral testimony was taken at the public Work Group meeting.

Up Next: The legislative Special Session will begin at 10:00 A.M. today, and everything needs to be wrapped up in one legislative day. The agreement by leadership calls for no amendments being accepted unless approved by all members of leadership.
