In Review: Last week was the floor deadline for the chamber of origination in Mississippi. The number of issues PCMA is engaged on continues to drop, with the most notable defeat last week being the final pharmacist’s kitchen sink proposal being defeated. While many of the PBM bills have been defeated, a few are still in play; those are companion measures on 340B, a bill narrowly focused on networks, a ‘clean-claim’ bill, and a ban on step therapy for advanced metastatic cancer.
Up Next: PCMA will be in Jackson later this week to discuss our concerns and, where possible, alternative language options.
