In Review: Last week, House Speaker Jason White (R), sent HB 1123 to conference to address the amendments the Senate added. Over the weekend, the Senate finally named their conferees for HB 1123. As of this morning, there is not a conference committee report.

Up Next: PCMA anticipates a conference committee report that will narrow the scope of HB 1123 as amended by the Senate. The legislature is in the final week of session, and rumors are swirling that they might adjourn this Wednesday, putting more pressure on the conferees to get to a position on the bill quickly.
