Mississippi Weekly Update 3.4.24

In Review: PCMA has been working closely with members, local counsel, and our coalition partners to filter through and object to roughly 34 pieces of legislation in Mississippi.  Last week, SB 2140, a prior authorization bill, became law without the Governor’s signature, and the companion 340B bills made it out of committee. PCMA is working to keep the pharmacist kitchen sink bills out of committee before the committee deadline of Tuesday, March 5. PCMA is currently engaging on bills related to 340B, importation, white bagging, step therapy, the pharmacy proposal, audits, frozen formulary, and others in Mississippi.

Up Next: Again, Tuesday, March 5 is the deadline for committees to report out bills, making the next 36 hours in Mississippi critical.
