In Review: PCMA received an invite to speak at the next PBM meeting in Jackson, MS, on August 21. As you will recall, during the 2024 session, several ‘kitchen sink’ bills aimed at PBMs ultimately failed to receive final passage. Since the session adjourned, Speaker Jason White (R) announced an interim committee to review PBM issues with the goal of introducing ‘compromise’ legislation in 2025.

Up Next: PCMA is preparing a presentation for next week’s hearing that will focus on how PBMs operate, the key issues from the 2024 legislation, and areas where PBMs are working to support independents.
