In Review: Last week, on Tuesday, January 16, the House Committee on Healthcare Reform held a public hearing on the following three bills:

• 1. House Bill 1632 – $35 price cap for a 30-day supply of insulin
  2. House Bill 1976 – Gold carding – 90% threshold
  3. House Bill 2190 – One-year dispensing mandate of oral contraceptives

 PCMA testified in opposition to all three bills. The committee will vote on the above three bills tomorrow, January 23.

Given that over 20 bills impacting PBMs have been introduced at the start of the session, PCMA will be running a digital ad campaign that will geofence near the capitol. While details are still being worked out, the approach will be to condition the environment to promote a positive PBM message.
