In Review: This week, the House Committee on Health and Mental Health held a hearing on HBs 1850 and 1975, PBM omnibus measures, which include fiduciary, ERISA, NADAC, dispensing fee, auditing, and transparency measures. PCMA testified in opposition, along with representatives from labor and the Chamber of Commerce.
Up Next: Next week, the Senate Committee on Health is likely to hold a vote on SBs 968 and 984, companion legislation to HBs 1850 and 1975. PCMA has been working with the bill sponsor to negotiate a compromise measure focused on transparency and auditing.
