In Review: The Missouri House Committee on Health held a hearing on HBs 982 and 840, anti-PBM omnibus measures including a spread pricing ban, fiduciary mandate, point-of-sale rebates, copay accumulator, and other provisions. PCMA testified in opposition and is working to modify the proposal. The committee also heard HB 784, a 340B measure. In the Senate, the Committee on Insurance held a hearing on SB 158 mandating coverage for opioid alternatives and SB 230 a bill to enact gold carding. PCMA is working in coordination with the Missouri Insurance Coalition to negotiate more favorable language.
