Nebraska Weekly Update 1.13.25

In Review: The legislature convened on Wednesday, January 8. While some committee assignments are still to be decided, we fully expect the Banking, Commerce, and Insurance Committee to be significantly more challenging. Senator Eliot Bostar (D) has introduced LB 109, and while we are still waiting for text, we expect it will be very similar to LB 778 which including several anti-PBM provisions.

Up Next: It was agreed we will defer to the health plans and Insurance Federation on the Hospital Association’s white bagging legislation while we focus on the Bostar bill as well as legislation we expect from newly elected, and former pharmacists’ lobbyist Bob Halstrom.
