Up Next: An omnibus bill dealing with white bagging as well as several PBM provisions (LB 109), will be heard in the Banking, Commerce, and Insurance Committee on Monday, February 10. Senator Eliot Boster (D), who is sponsoring the bill, has asked for PCMA amendments and cautioned us not to simply oppose the bill. We are coordinating with our health plan partners as well as the Nebraska Insurance Federation on how best to approach both LB 109 as well as other legislation, leaving them to lead on most bills at their request. While far from a certainty, we have heard the legislature may be more concerned with the current impact of 340B on rural hospitals than LB 109.
