Nebraska Weekly Update 2.18.25

In Review: Last week, the Banking, Commerce, and Insurance Committee heard LB 109 (white bagging, mail-order, and accreditation). PCMA, Prime Therapeutics, Nebraska Insurance Federation, and Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Nebraska were present to oppose the bill. Several hospital representatives were present to testify in support.

Up Next: LB 198 (ban on spread, MAC appeals, reimbursement based on acquisition costs) will be heard on March 3. This is Senator Eliot Bostar’s (D) bill from last year that he had Senator Tony Sorrentino (R) introduce. PCMA will testify along with Prime Therapeutics.
