Nebraska Weekly Update 3.17.25

In Review: The Nebraska Hospital Association shared their opposition to the inclusion of “terms and conditions” in our requested amendments to LB 198 (ban on spread pricing, mail order, steering, accreditation, and reimbursement based on pharmacy acquisition costs). While the bill has been designated as a committee priority, it gives Chair Mike Jacobson (R) more control over the process. He has indicated that he is only going to include language that all parties agree to and has made clear there can be no further changes once the bill officially advances to floor.

Up Next: There are still ongoing discussions on our requested changes as well as possible changes to LB 158 (copay coupons) which would narrow the applicability to hemophilia drugs.
