In Review: The Committee to Study the Impact of Pharmacy Benefit Manager Operations on Cost, Administration, and Distribution of Prescription Drugs released its final report. The report makes recommendations to increase MAC transparency, where PCMA will work with committee members as they consider language and policy. Also, Representative Gary Merchant (D) lost in the general election on Tuesday. Rep. Merchant was the Chair of the PBM Study, Chair of the Prescription Drug Affordability Board, and former pharmacist.
