Up Next: Representative Gary Merchant (D), who chaired the PBM study and who chairs the New Hampshire Prescription Drug Affordability Board, has scheduled a stakeholder meeting, including representatives of the Department of Insurance, on Tuesday to discuss legislation related to the final report from the PBM study PCMA participated in over the fall. PCMA shared with the New Hampshire membership language we would like to offer to the stakeholder group around MAC transparency. The language shared would allow the Department of Insurance to handle MAC appeals, allow pharmacies to contract with more than one wholesaler, and justification from drug manufacturers for price increases.
