In Review: The Senate Health and Human Services Committee voted to pass a bill to require 50% of rebates to be offered to the patient at the point-of-sale. The bill will head to the Senate floor, where we anticipate it will pass. The bill then heads to the House Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee, where PCMA will educate committee members on the costs associated with this and point out that the state employee plan is excluded from the bill. PCMA got the New Hampshire Business and Industry Association to oppose the bill, which will be helpful in our discussion with House Committee members.
