In Review: The Assembly Health and Human Services Committee held a hearing on A1825, a bill regarding step therapy. Despite opposition from PCMA and plans, the bill was amended and released. It is not likely that the bill will see further action in the near future as the legislature moves into budget season. Separately, PCMA learned that Assembly Health Vice-Chair Pamela Lampitt (D) is anticipated to depart the legislature for a County-level position, creating two potential vacancies in the leadership of Assembly Health as Chairman Herb Conaway (D) seeks the district Congressional seat.
