In Review: As expected, A 4953 has been scheduled for a hearing on Thursday, June 19 at 10:00 A.M. in the Assembly Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee. The agenda lists the bill as “Amendments Only,” meaning that a proposed committee amendment will be made to the bill, and testimony will be limited to the subject of the amendment. The committee will likely vote on whether to adopt the amendment, and could then vote to release the bill. PCMA will be present to speak at the hearing.

Up Next: The Senate Commerce Committee will meet on June 23 to discuss PBMs holistically, not specific to a bill. PCMA was given 30 minutes to give an industry overview and discuss any issues.
