In Review: Last week saw the introduction of SB 62, the delinking bill endorsed by the Legislative Health & Human Services Committee in the fall. PCMA estimates that the bill would cost the patients and payers of New Mexico over $123 million in new premiums each year. PCMA, our members, and all of our local counsel are engaging with the Senate Tax, Business, and Transportation Committee before the bill is placed on the agenda. PCMA Public Affairs Department is also initializing a grassroots, grasstops, and media campaign to combat the bill.
