In Review: Last week, PCMA hosted a virtual meeting with New Mexico House Speaker Javier Martinez (D). The meeting focused on the potential threats we face during the next legislative session and our efforts to educate the House members on the value PBMs provide patients and payors in New Mexico. Speaker Martinez appeared receptive to the argument that many special interests are pushing the anti-PBM rhetoric for their own benefit rather than the patients of New Mexico. PCMA continues our efforts to set more educational meetings with New Mexico leaders throughout the remainder of the year.
