Up Next: PCMA will meet with Senator Jim Burgin (R), Chairman of the Senate Health Care Committee, on Tuesday, January 9. While no new legislation has been filed or drafted, Senator Burgin has expressed some interest in the issue. Additionally, we understand that sometime later this month or in February, a Joint Legislative Oversight Committee will hold a hearing involving the industry. Currently, details on a legislative proposal (if any) are scant, though we hope to find out more and ask to be involved in future hearings/meetings.
