In Review: Last week, PCMA was in Raleigh and held several meetings with members of the House Health Committee, House and Senate Leadership staff, and the bill sponsor of HB 163, which includes a reimbursement and dispensing fee mandate, a ban on spread pricing, a point-of-sale rebate mandate, and more. In addition to legislative meetings, PCMA met with the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina and the NC Chamber. A stakeholder meeting has been tentatively scheduled by Representative Heather Rhyne (R), the bill sponsor, for March 13, who has asked that the industry come with “solutions”.
Up Next: PCMA will be in Raleigh again this week for additional legislative meetings.
