In Review: The Joint Interim Health Care Committee met last Monday, and the focus was on the Prescription Drug Transparency Reporting Study (340B). There were presentations to the Committee from the Insurance Commissioner Jon Godfread (R), Department of Health and Human Services, various hospitals operating in the state, American Hospital Association, North Dakota Board of Pharmacy, PhRMA, North Dakota Pharmacists Association, and Blue Cross Blue Shield North Dakota which described the 340B program and how it works for the various entities. No action was taken on the matter.

Up Next: It was discussed that the Health Care Committee would possibly meet again in November.
