In Review: The lame duck session ended with sine die on December 19, 2024. As a result, HB 505 will not become law. It will likely be introduced during the next session beginning on January 6.
Up Next: The new legislative session has begun on January 6, when Republicans and Democrats in both chambers have elected leadership teams and begun outlining their policy priorities. At this time, floor action is not expected until late January.
