Ohio Weekly Update 12.8.25

In Review: As you may recall, the Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) has been seeking changes, largely technical in nature, to HB 229, the pharmacy benefit manager licensure bill. ODI dropped a 12-page amendment seeking changes. PCMA and member companies had concerns with eight of the provisions contained in the ODI bill. To their credit, ODI has accepted four of the suggested changes made by PCMA members, with four issues still being ironed out between PCMA and ODI.

Up Next: PCMA and ODI will continue to work towards working out their differences to ODI’s suggested changes.
