In Review: On Wednesday, March 26, Representative Kellie Deeter (R-Norwalk) convened an interested parties meeting to discuss a budget amendment to regulate PBMs. PCMA and over 20 stakeholders attended. The primary policy items of concern are a fiduciary mandate and a ban on spread pricing, allowing the state to determine accreditation requirements and disincentivizing mail-order.
Up Next: The House version of the budget is due to be introduced on Tuesday, April 1 and we will know then if the PBM provisions remain in the budget. PCMA will provide real-time updates as they continue to develop.
