In Review: On Wednesday, May 14, PCMA will testify in opposition to the state budget proposal, HB 96, in the Ohio Senate Government Oversight and Reform Committee. The following day, PCMA will testify for information only at the Ohio Medicaid Budget Hearing to push back against some of the claims made by the Ohio Department of Medicaid about the savings generated by SPBM model. Finally, Representative Kellie Deeter’s (R) PBM bill, HB 229, relating to PBM licensure, reporting requirements, a fiduciary requirement and affiliate reimbursement parity, will have a sponsor’s hearing in General Government Committee on Tuesday, May 13 at 4:15 P.M. Rep. Deeter is going to introduce a substitute amendment bill and will give sponsor testimony. According to her office, the substitute amendment will not have any substantive changes and they are ‘just some fixes that the Ohio Department of Insurance suggested.”
