In Review: The legislature concluded its spring calendar session on June 26 and is now in summer recess. Legislative activity will restart in the fall, with limited activity taking place. PCMA continues to monitor numerous legislative proposals, including House Bill 73, relating to the prescribing of off-label drugs; House Bill 156, relating to white bagging; House Bill 177, relating to copay accumulator; House Bill 291, relating to frozen formulary; House Bill 384 relating to copay caps on Insulin ($35 cap for a 30-day supply of insulin, $100 cap for 30-day supply of ‘diabetes care device’); Senate Bill 61 relating to copay cap on insulin($35 for a 30-day supply); House Bill 505 relating to reimbursement and dispensing fee floors, accreditation prohibition, reporting requirements; House Bill 509 relating to point-of-sale rebates; and House Bill 597, relating requiring EpiPen cost-sharing caps for minors at $60 for two injectors.
