In Review: Last week was the deadline to file bills in Oklahoma, and Representative Carl Newton (R) filed a forced pharmacy closure bill, HB 4457. Rep. Newton told PCMA that he would be filing this bill, but that his primary goals are helping a local cancer center and his local pharmacist. He expects negotiations on the issues raised by the proponents, and plans to offer a committee substitute based on any negotiations. PCMA is set to meet with the oncologists later this week.
