Oklahoma Weekly Update 1.22.24

In Review: Governor J. Kevin Stitt (R) has called for a special session on tax cuts, expected to begin the week before the regular session. The Senate is likely to gavel out quickly, deferring tax cut discussions to the regular session. Meetings with Lt. Governor on January 29 and Senator Dewayne Pemberton (R) on January 30 are scheduled. Currently, 12 bills are being tracked, covering various topics such as PBM regulation, patient rights, pharmacy practices, workers’ compensation, transparency in PA, alternative funding, and AI utilization review. The Attorney General’s regular regulations are in progress, with comments due by February 16, and a hearing scheduled for the same day at 1:30 P.M.
