In Review: This week, PCMA met with the primary proponents of HB 4457, the Forced Pharmacy Closure bill, to discuss their concerns that led to the filing of this bill. The Oklahoma Cancer Specialist & Research Institute articulated that they have been dealing with patients steering away from their pharmacy for oral oncology drugs, network access, below-cost reimbursement, accreditation, and audit issues. PCMA is preparing a list of all of the statutes already in place to address these issues, and any further discussions will focus on addressing these concerns without Forced Pharmacy Closure.
