In Review: Last week, Oklahoma Families for Affordable Health Care, a consumer coalition, unveiled the results of a recent poll. The survey, conducted by Cygnal in early January, polled over 600 individuals from across the state who are likely to vote in the 2024 general election. The poll focused on determining public sentiment regarding the causes of escalating healthcare costs in Oklahoma and whether there is a perceived role for government intervention to address the issue. Oklahoma Families for Affordable Healthcare, the organization behind the poll, is committed to advocating for policies that effectively reduce healthcare expenses and enhance access to affordable healthcare. Up Next: Looking ahead, this week, PCMA is scheduled to visit Oklahoma. We plan to meet with Lieutenant Governor Matt Pinnell (R) and Senator Dewayne Pemberton (R). We expect to provide an overview of PBM issues and discuss pertinent issues that we anticipate engaging in the upcoming legislative session. The Oklahoma Session is scheduled to begin on February 5.
